1. General Policies on Providing Free Access to FPT University’s Libraries
- Scope of application: Everyone.
The libraries at all campuses of FPT University provide several services that allow free use of library resources, including:
- Free automatic access to the Internet and study space in the library: The library provides free Internet access for study and research, with professional staff available to support readers.
- Free access to on-site book resources: The library provides free on-site access to book collections. Children of faculty and staff, at all educational levels, are allowed to borrow books to take home.
- Free access to scientific articles and students’ graduation theses on the website http://ds.libol.fpt.edu.vn/ and some other online resources of the libraries.
- Book fairs and activities: With the goal of promoting a reading culture and an academic society, the library is open free of charge to everyone to participate in events and activities such as: Book Fairs, the 7-Day Reading Challenge, exhibitions, seminars on books and arts, which are regularly organized.

2. Location and Opening Hours of All Libraries
FPT University Hanoi Campus’s Library
The university library, designed as an open library model where everyone can stay to study and conduct research, is located in the lobby on the first floor of the Delta Building. It is open daily from 8:15 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., welcoming readers to study and access printed materials.

FPT University Ho Chi Minh City Campus’s Library
The library of FPT University Ho Chi Minh City spans a spacious area across three consecutive floors connected by long, open staircases. Unlike conventional library designs, this space designed by architect Vo Trong Nghia does not create a sense of being “overwhelmed” by books. On the contrary, it offers a refreshing atmosphere by making full use of natural light and providing expansive outward views of the green lawn and the blooming lotus pond in the center of the campus, separated only by sleek and sturdy glass panels.

3. Library Events and Book Fairs at FPT University
Events such as the FPTU Book Fair, the 7-Day Reading Challenge, Open Your Book – Open Your Mind, and the Book Exchange program with the theme “Give a Book – Get a Treasure”, along with various exhibitions, are held regularly and open to the public to promote a reading culture and a scholarly community
