FPT UNIVERSITY MAINTAINS A STRONG INSTITUTIONAL COMMITMENT TO INTEGRITY, TRANSPARENCY, AND ETHICAL GOVERNANCE WITHIN ITS ORGANIZATION

The Anti-Corruption, Anti-Bribery, and Transparency Policy (FPT University SDGs Policy – Chapter II – Article 14: Integrity, Transparency, and Ethical Governance – updated 2025), published on FPT University’s official website, is clearly stated in the Governance Handbook (issued in 2020) and the Employee Handbook (Decision issued in 2021).

This policy reaffirms that:

  • FPT University complies with the United Nations Convention against Corruption (UNCAC) and the Group’s Code of Ethics and Compliance Charter;
  • It enforces zero tolerance toward all forms of bribery, corruption, facilitation payments, or conflicts of interest;
  • It adheres to Vietnam’s Anti-Corruption Law (2018) and the Criminal Code (2015, amended 2017);
  • Reporting and whistleblowing procedures are mandatory and managed by the Internal Audit and Risk Management Department;
  • Annual training sessions are held for staff on ethics, integrity in procurement, and financial accountability.

The FPT Corporation Annual Report 2024 highlights “Risk Management and Anti-Corruption” as one of its key material topics. The FPT commits to full legal compliance and maintaining the highest ethical standards in all business activities. FPT does not tolerate violations of ethical regulations by any individual within the organization.

From this overarching commitment, specific institutional goals are set:

  • 100% of managers trained in anti-fraud and anti-corruption practices;
  • 100% of cases involving conflicts of interest or fraud handled appropriately;
  • Deployment of AI in financial and procurement management systems.

In the 2024 activity summary, key achievements in anti-corruption include:

  • Strengthened training and communications to maintain an anti-corruption culture;
  • Organized structure and processes with clear regulations and disciplinary measures to address conflicts of interest and corruption;
  • Applied AI technology in procurement to control price discrepancies;
  • Launched “iNghe” – a digital platform that records all honest opinions and contributions from staff, allowing feedback or reporting of negative incidents.

Specifically, on January 10, 2024, FPT University issued Notice No. 19/ĐHFPT, officially prohibiting the giving of gifts to leaders during New Year holidays, in accordance with established ethical norms.

Notice No. 19/DHFPT prohibits giving gifts to leaders

 According to FPT University’s leadership, the ban on gifting to leaders during Tet has existed since the university’s founding. Notice No. 19 formally codified this tradition to ensure consistent communication and understanding across all campuses. Despite the growing number of faculty and staff of FPT University, everyone within the system is aware of and unified in observing this long-standing regulation — now recognized as a hallmark of FPT University’s ethical culture and spirit.Top of Form
