FPT UNIVERSITY HAS CONSISTENTLY AND ACTIVELY CONTRIBUTED TO POLICY DEVELOPMENT IN EDUCATION AND PUBLIC GOVERNANCE THROUGH OFFICIAL COOPERATION WITH GOVERNMENTAL AND LOCAL AUTHORITIES

Since its founding in 2006, FPT University has remained committed to supporting policy formulation in education and public administration. As a member institution of FPT, FPT University leverages its academic and technological expertise to provide advisory input to government agencies on digital transformation, education reform, and sustainable development.

FPT University representatives have participated in consultation sessions organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) on the revision and amendment of the Law on Education and the Law on Higher Education.

During these consultations and in written recommendations submitted to MOET, FPT University proposed three key amendments to the Law on Education:

  1. The definition of joint or co-affiliated lecturers within the Law on Education;
  2. Regulations concerning the issuance of licenses for higher education institutions (amended Higher Education Law, Article 21);
  3. Provisions regarding standards for higher education institutions in the new Higher Education Law (Article 9), including standards related to revenue, penalties, and institutional compliance.

FPT University also provides expert consultation and technical advice during local government workshops and public consultations.
FPT university’s campuses are located in regional science and technology zones, allowing FPT University to contribute specialized insights directly aligned with local development priorities.

The Hanoi campus, situated in the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, actively engages in local policy discussions. In response to the emerging demand for human resources in the semiconductor industry, the university participated in the workshop “Developing Human Resources for the Semiconductor Industry,” offering multiple technical recommendations for the park’s future orientation — demonstrating FPT University’s commitment and pioneering role in national science and technology development.

FPT University’s Ho Chi Minh City campus, located in the Saigon Hi-Tech Park (SHTP), collaborates closely with local authorities in digital transformation initiatives. FPT University provides training for public administration units and local police forces in technology and foreign languages, and supports the implementation of digital administrative services. It also assists local police with digital tools for security management.

• Training and professional development programs;
• Pilot implementation models at ward/commune levels;
