FPT University actively fulfils its mission as an educational institution committed to social responsibility by providing short-term executive training programmes and open vocational training courses for businesses and the wider community, including individuals who are not enrolled at FPT University. These programmes are offered in both special-event formats and regular structured training formats, with the objective of enhancing national capacity-building and directly contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), and SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure).
1. FPT Education’s Executive Training Series on Enterprise Management in the Era of AI
FPT University organises structured, periodic professional development programmes that are publicly available and open to professionals, entrepreneurs, community members, and local government officials.
Weekly and monthly professional programmes on topics such as digital transformation, leadership, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and innovation management are delivered in collaboration with industry partners and non-governmental organisations.
Highlighted activities include:
- Seminar “Enterprises Adapting to the AI Wave” at DRC Rubber Joint Stock Company, Da Nang, aimed at raising awareness and enhancing the application of artificial intelligence technologies in production and business operations across 27 departments of the factory.

The workshop at DRC Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company is part of FPT Education’s series of workshops on AI for businesses - Seminar “AI and Corporate Governance” analysing five leadership competencies of the future: AI-human integration thinking; predictive thinking; coaching and leadership thinking; adaptive flexibility; and next-generation emotional intelligence (EQ).

- Workshop “Agile Mindset – Creating Breakthrough Business Models” attracting high engagement from enterprises in Ho Chi Minh City.
- Agile Leadership Orientation Programme with participation of 30 managers from multiple companies, focusing on the adoption of agile management models in business operations within the AI era.
2. Vocational Skills and Career Training for External Learners
Weekly training classes in design and multimedia communications are open to members of the public.
Regular workshops are delivered to equip young people with practical digital skills for employability.
Workshop “Design That Works: Decoding UI/UX” at the University of Foreign Language Studies – University of Danang, covering:

- Role of UI/UX in product design
- Fundamental UX principles and keys to effective UI
- Hands-on experience applying theory to real-world scenarios

Workshop “Powerful Posters – Strong Branding” at the University of Economics – Da Nang, focusing on:

- Applying visual design principles for social media marketing
- Optimising images to increase views, clicks, and conversion
- Building personal and corporate brand identity through self-design skills

Digital transformation training for local government officials
- 38 volunteer students from FPTU Da Nang (IT major) supported IT application and digital transformation initiatives for government operations across 44 wards and communes in Da Nang city over a 2-month programme.

- In the past two years, FPTU Ho Chi Minh lecturers and students conducted multiple free training courses for officials in Tang Nhon Phu Ward, Thu Duc City on digital transformation, Microsoft 365, and AI. As a result, Tang Nhon Phu has become a leading digital transformation locality in Ho Chi Minh City.

3. Special Educational Events on Management in the AI Era
In addition to structured training programmes, FPT University also organises short-term public seminars and community workshops upon request.
- “Principal 4.0 Conference”, held on 26 November 2024, was a special event designed for high school principals nationwide, with participation from over 300 principals and vice principals from Vietnam provinces

Discussions focused on applying digital technologies in education management, leadership transformation in the era of AI, and the future role of educators in digital learning ecosystems.

Through both regular programmes and special events, FPT University shares academic knowledge and technological expertise with localities, enterprises, and the wider community—particularly in digital technology, digital literacy, artificial intelligence, and innovation, which are core strengths of the university. In addition, FPTU is committed to providing practical training on entrepreneurship and vocational skills for youth and local communities, demonstrating its strong social responsibility in education.
All programmes are open-access, publicly announced on the university website, social media platforms, and community channels. They are offered free of charge and designed to reach a broad audience in education, community development, and business.
